My Story
Mark Covington
Teased as a child, insecure and shy around women, I was the quintessence of an ugly duckling. Then one day discovered myself an elegant swan, sailing the waters of romance with grace and calm.
The bridge to transformation was full of delays, diversions, and depression. Though painful at the time, I wouldn't have it any other way. All the bumpy roads led to passion unrestrained.
With over two decades of writing online dating profiles and romantic adventures in four countries, I found myself helping other men be better lovers in and out of the bedroom. In my debut book, Beyond Blushes: The Shy Guy’s Manual to Romance, Sex, and Seduction, I write with a concise voice that shines with understanding, encouraging the shy man to express his elegance.
A lifelong introvert, I began writing as a means of self-expression. Winning a poetry contest in the third grade to winning the attention of women, my writing creates worlds of opportunity my voice cannot.
When not absorbed in a good mystery, I love midnight walks, discovering new words, and try not to stress about my bio sounding like a dating profile.
